Heck, yes. I have been searching for the whole year. You guys would NEVER understand how happy I'd be if someone made this mod!! I tried to install modding stuff to make my own, but I wasn't able to install it. Please, someone, do it!!
I've seen people wanting this 'cooties' idea, but I don't agree. That stuff is old now, no kids use it. I'd like stuff like this (in order of the relationship bar):
Compliment - Sims may get a Happy moodlet ('It's good to know that people appreciate me!') or a Tense moodlet ('D-Do they like me? But I don't like them!')
Hint - Sims may not get a moodlet, or get a Tense moodlet ('Was that a joke? It's not funny!')
Attempt to hold hand - The Sim doing the action will either get a Happy moodlet ('I can't believe I just held ____'s hand!') or an Embarrassed moodlet ('Oh no. I think that turned out worse than my grades!')
Ask about Crush - The Sim doing the action may get no moodlet, or a Tense moodlet ('They have a crush! I hope they don't like each other!')
Give Love Letter - The Sim who receives the letter might get a Happy moodlet or a Tense one, you know why.
Play Mums and Dads - Admit it, we all played this as kids.
Pretend Marriage - A girl would wear a white nightgown and daisy chains, a boy would wear a top hat and an oversized suit.
Confess Crush - At this point, neither would be disgusted by the action. The Sim who confessed would get a Very Happy moodlet.
Kiss - No, not really kissing. Just a little kiss on the hand or a kiss on the cheek.

I'd absolutely love to be able to play out a widdle love story between kiddos!
It could be done, but it would be a doozy. I mean, right now all the romance menus call an age checker script, and breaking that would be easy, but all that would do is give children access to the same romance interactions that everyone else has (and it wouldn't restrict anything intergenerational). What you're talking about is adding a different age checker script that rejects all non-children and creating custom romance commands that run through that script with custom modifiers, I'm guessing with parallel code (IE 'Confess Crush' would just be identical to 'Confess Attraction', with Children passing the age test and older sims not passing it).
I'd be willing to put it on my back burner (I've got like three projects ahead of it so it'd be awhile), but here's my question: what's the endgame for it? I imagine by default the romantic currency bars they generate in childhood would just carry over when they age up (which I guess is what you'd want anyway - childhood puppy love often blossoms into something deeper in RL, and this would give it that kind of a boost). But should there be achievements? Whims? A childhood romance aspiration? There's a lot of directions one could conceivably take it.

Mc Command Center will do sort what you are asking but from what I know it might not work. It did work for one case where I wanted 2 of my sims to be in love, but they were cousins so I used the mod to have a romantic relationship between the 2. It might work for child sims too. I hope that can satisfy you for now.

I also think that there should be an update where they introduce pre-teens, like they did with toddlers
Regarding preteens, here's my abbreviated rant on why that's not really possible in the Sims 4 Engine.
Regarding the modifications you're looking for, the prime example would be a tuning file called testSet_AgeTeenOlder - that file is called by the engine whenever they want to make sure that the sim is, well, a teen or older, before allowing them to do things. If you edit that file and add the child variable as a passing condition, then voila - suddenly kids can do a lot of things adults can do.
There's more than just that one file, I think there's like 10 or 15 age checkers like that buried all through the thing. I'd code it for you, but until I can find a way to block the obvious side effect (allowed pedophilic adult-child relationships), I'm afraid that the amount of hate mail I'd get for releasing the mod just wouldn't be worth it.

It's all about sources. DDG doesn’t want to simply provide links to users, it wants to provide answers. Finding an answer to a specific question is the most common use case for search engines. The premise behind the Instant Answer is that specialized sites such as Yelp, MetroLyrics, and StackOverflow do a better job at answering searches for their respective genre (restaurants, song lyrics, programming questions). Instant Answers appear at the top right of the screen after a search. They are informed by a number of different sources. Wikipedia answers many of them. DDG also has an open source community called DuckDuckHack that allows contributors to add answers to common questions. Additionally, DDG has an intelligence engine that selects the optimal sources for a particular search and displays answers in real time (recipes, products, images, etc). Traditional links in the search results use the Yahoo-Bing engines, among other sources. It earns money by working with ads from the Yahoo-Bing network and by a relationship with eBay and Amazon.

The !bang syntax is another differentiator and one of DDG’s coolest features. It’s similar to those Google results that display multiple links from the same site – Quora, Reddit, etc. !bang allows you to execute a search on a specific website. Is there a better alternative?

While DDG is the most popular private search engine there are a handful of options that offer similar angles. Search Encrypt focuses on encrypting every part of a user’s search. It can be used from its website or as a browser extension and does not have its own search engine per se – it uses other engines to drive its results. StartPage leverages the Google search with some privacy enhancements like a URL generator to eliminate the need for cookies. Swisscows not only offers privacy but a totally unorthodox search methodology in its use of machine learning to derive results. When you execute a search you’re presented with the usual listing of links but on the righthand side of the UI shows a tiling of related subjects that you can continue to search.

Our take

It is a compelling alternative to the big search engines. Privacy is one of those ethical dilemmas where the outcome of all this personal data tracking might be hard to predict, but if it comes to a head, you know the consequences will not be positive. DDG also works well as a search engine, ethics aside. The sources it uses, the Instant Answer platform, the !bang function, that it relies on unbiased information in its calculations: these are good things. The extensions also add value if you don’t want to use DDG directly, and the fact they have a privacy knowledge base means the DDG leadership practices what they preach.

Should you download it

Give it a shot. Unless you love targeted ads and the specter of Google knowing everything about you, the risk/reward ratio here favors a use of the engine, and an extension or app download.

While the main aspect of this has to be the way it randomizes the Pokémon. It actually tinkers with many other aspects of the game too. Items are now randomized too, not just where they are found in the wild, but in shops as well in terms of their availability and also how many of them there are. The way characters talk can now be different to thanks to the way they are referred to changing. It is pretty crazy the number of things that this can change ranging from the more obvious such as the Pokémon themselves to the items and even things like your Pokedex!

I will admit that something like the Pokémon Emerald Randomizer is really only aimed at those of us who are diehard Pokémon fans. It is very well done and while it does take a bit of work to install, I do think that it is worth checking out if you are a fan of the series. I will be honest and say that if you are not someone who has played through Ruby, Sapphire and the main version of Emerald. I would suggest playing one of those (preferably Emerald) first before you play this.

Unmanned spacecraft and robotics are an integral part of NASA’s mission, and each of the global space programs for that matter. It’s through technology that we will be able to make our first forays into the unknown reaches of space, sending machinery to test out areas in advance for eventual human cargo. This past month, humanity took an exciting step forward with the landing of the Curiosity Rover, which among its mission objectives will be testing atmospheric and geologic conditions at the surface to determine the viability of life on Mars in preparation for eventual colonization.

It’s this same guiding logic behind the backstory to The Desolate Hope, where we find ourselves in Lun Infinus, a research station centered on an unknown planet far from Earth where humans have sent a series of intelligent robots (called “derelicts”) to determine the best method for human colonization through hours of simulation. However, unlike NASA who will be monitoring Curiosity’s move with great attention, the Derelicts have been cut off from human communication, their last transmission from Earth having been received thirty years ago. This has led the derelicts to reconsider their mission in developing methods for planetary colonization, as they are now unsure of exactly what has happened to humanity. Abandoned by their makers, and with power running scarce, the derelicts face their own struggle for continued existence with the threat of a computer virus; their only hope falling to a small gaming circuit board tapped into the last mobile robot on the base… a coffee pot.

The Desolate Hope is an interesting anomaly for a game, combining three very different types of play, all the time held together with a visually striking art style. The game is primarily a platformer, where players take control of a walking coffee pot as he journeys through each of the four Derelict’s simulated worlds to seek out and destroy the virus threats. In the platforming sections, you’ll come across various enemies that can be fairly easily taken out with your gun, as well as friendly robots who will talk to you and offer you various upgrades and options. These sections are not incredibly challenging however their individual maze-like designs are creative, and feature light terrain puzzles you can conquer with your upgraded inventory (X-ray goggles to see blocks that can be broken, higher platforms that can be reached with the hover pack, etc).

Found inside the simulations are also the sub-games, virtual constructs that play out like dungeons from the Legend of Zelda, or the recent Binding of Issac. Enemies, doors, secret pathways; all can be encountered in these virtual worlds, and the randomly generated enemy appearances make these areas an ideal place for grinding chips (this game’s currency). The objective of the sub-game levels is to locate “fissures” in the construct, where destroying it unlocks an additional bonus for the game’s third gameplay type; the boss battles.

Boss battles are the main objectives of the game to complete, and play out as an exciting timed turn-based RPG with one heck of a HUD. As opposed to the other two types of play featuring keyboard controls and your lovable coffee pot, battles are fought with the mouse and you now fight as the four active Derelict robots. Actions are scaled to a charge menu, where you can complete an available option, or wait a turn to charge up for higher options, making for 9 actions assigned to each of the 4 robots. There is a fair amount of strategy at play for each of the fights, as you’ll soon find out having everyone straight up attacking the boss is a surefire way to lose, and the players available options don’t stop at the four derelicts alone; tools like hacking, heal buttons, and lasers come into play, while setting “conditionals” (the rewards for completing sub-games) allow for actions to be set to complete after something happens in battle – automatically healing after taking damage, for example. What’s perhaps the most adorable addition (and possibly the thematic result of the protagonist being a computer game chip) is that there are in-battle minigames to add in, such as a shooting gallery and a driving game, that you can start up to gain additional multipliers and bonuses for your characters to help them out.

As you can image, the fights can get pretty chaotic, and a little disorienting, so it’s worth pointing out that if you are unable to sit through strobe effects or are prone to seizures due to flashes of light, this game may not be for you.

What’s perhaps amazing is that despite all of this, the options at play don’t overpower your characters and the fights still prove challenging towards the end (bosses hit hard and have a lot of health), and in treating the battles as somewhat of an end-goal, the other two gameplay experiences are designed in a way to support it. Sub-games unlock conditionals and are the best location to grind for money to buy battle upgrades as already mentioned, but the platforming stages also offer bonus pickups that add to the derelict’s meters like the bonus games, giving you the option to charge up before entering a battle. Furthermore you can take your coffee pot outside the station at night to pick up objects that can be given to your derelicts to level them up (this game does not feature experience points).

Unfortunately, I’m of two minds with The Desolate Hope. I very much enjoy a lot about this game; it’s takes on platforming, dungeon-crawling, and RPGs is unique and well mixed together so that one type of play benefits the other. It also has some incredible visuals, with very detailed character designs and a classic cyberpunk attitude, but not also without a bit of whimsy as well (one derelict has given up on his mission, becoming a toymaker and has begun recreating his simulation with child-like automatons). Discord_UpdatePresence() sends your game data up to Discord so that it can be seen and used by others. You should call Discord_UpdatePresence() any time something important in the presence payload changes.

Discord_UpdatePresence() has a rate limit of one update per 15 seconds. Developers don’t need to do anything to deal with this rate limit. The SDK will queue up any presence updated sent in that window and send the newest one when the client is free to do so. If you are wondering that why you do not see your Discord Rich Presence changing, the reason is that you may send presence updates frequently.

Presence Joining

The relevant callbacks of joining are joinGame() and joinRequest().

The relevant payload data are partyId, partySize, partyMax, and joinSecret. When you send the relevant payload data in the Discord_UpdatePresence() call, your players are able to invite a Discord chat channel to play with them.

This kind of invite is tied to the player’s party info. So, if their partyId changes, the invite will expire. If their partySize and partyMax changes, the invite will add, remove, and fill up slots dynamically.

For other gamers, they can click the Join option on the invitation to launch their game. The joinGame() callback will fire in their client with the inviting player’s joinSecret. Also, the client should reverse hash or otherwise unencrypt this secret and match the players together.

Those who have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are familiar with its vast open world filled with plenty of adventures and experiences. With such a large map to explore, one gamer put together a GIF that shows how the map from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild compares to other Zelda titles, as well as The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s map.
This isn’t the first time gamers have attempted to put the size of the Breath of the Wild map into perspective. One gamer described how large the map is by showing how one fairly large area takes around one percent of the map’s total size.
The comparison to Skyrim’s map isn’t surprising, considering the Skyrim map has become a standard for many gamers when considering map size. Despite first releasing way back in 2011, Skyrim’s map has been among the largest available for RPG worlds. However, as the GIF of the map comparison shows, the Breath of the Wild map is a whopping 1.66 times larger than Skyrim’s map.
Despite its massive size, the Breath of the Wild map doesn’t feel too overwhelming. With various methods available to travel across the vast environment, and tons of activities to do along the way, it feels perfect for the game it was created for.
Now that there’s a new RPG size standard, it wouldn’t be surprising to see many future games compared to the size of Breath of the Wild, including Elder Scrolls 6, whenever that game is eventually released.
We’ll note that the size of a game’s map isn’t always the best indicator of how well the game will turn out. The GIF shows how incredibly small the maps for Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time are compared to Breath of the Wild, yet both of those games are highly regarded among fans of the Zelda franchise. In fact, besides Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time is easily considered one of the best RPG games in gaming history.
That said, with the computing power of today’s current-gen consoles, including the new Nintendo Switch, there’s a definitely shift toward open-world gaming. Many games that were once relegated to linear-based campaigns, such as Zelda, Ghost Recon, and Final Fantasy now offer gamers large, open worlds where they can make their own adventures.

The Scorebet landing page is your standard Bettech skin with a slight twist, the twist being a Bettech site that is actually nice to look at, who would’ve thought! They’ve moved the banner carousel to the centre of the screen instead of having it as a header, which most sites do.
The colours are bright and bold, they really stand out and they’ve done a very good job with the branding. You’ll find the site to be clean and responsive on desktop and mobile with everything right at your fingertips. The register and login in buttons stand out which is a good touch as there are some much bigger sites (Betx) that haven’t managed to get this right.
Scorebet have the usual solid Bettech Quicklinks on the left hand side which give punters quick access to all the current and upcoming events. They’re also clearly keeping up to date with current events as they’ve updated the quicklinks on a regular basis. It’s a small touch but it makes a world of difference.
Markets
Scorebet have improved from their initial offering which had no inplay on offer. They now have a very comprehensive inplay and prematch market selection. It’s not going to blow your socks off but it’s more than adequate for now. We do have to give Scorebet praise for the improvement here, as the previous offering was nowhere near as good as what they have now. Additionally the odds are fair which is pretty much to be expected from a Bettech based bookmaker.

Overall Experience
Our previous review of Scorebet was scathing and in our opinion fully deserved. However with recent changes and updates Scorebet have really done a good job with the improvements. The site is easy to use and perfectly functional, we know this is what we expect from bookmakers these days but honestly the current site is infinitely better than the previous one.
